I love mascarpone;
thick, creamy and essential for this Almond Orange Frosting.
Only a few ingredients and a 1-step method!
- 200g of mascarpone
- 2 tbsp of icing sugar, sifted
- 1/2 orange, zested
- Amaretto liqueur, a few drops
- 2 tbsp of flaked almonds, toasted
Sweet and zesty!
- Beat together the mascarpone, icing sugar, orange zest and Amaretto.
This is the perfect topping for my Carrot Cake.
Just sprinkle on some toasted almonds.
